I you are looking for that one GREAT program that you can join, do nothing and get RICH-Your search is over!!!! There isn't one. The doublers that made the rounds mad a few people at the top some money, but payouts are few and far between for everyone else.

Randomizers are making the rounds again, they do at least offer you advertising an or a few good downloads so you aren't totally ripped off. When they first came on the scene a few years ago I tried quite a few-never made a dime! Maybe if you had one, concentrated on it only-got MASSIVE traffic for it you would do ok-however new sign up seem to be short lived.

If you haven't done well with your Internet businesses, maybe EDUCATION is the key. Internet Marketing is a JOB, a PROFESSION if you will. You need to know the many facets of marketing on line, know which ones you are good at and work hard.

Paradigm Changes

I have been an online marketer for over 10 years. I have achieved a level of SUCCESS, and do a fair job of keeping up with Changes on the net. I can HONESTLY tell you that “ONE” URL does not exist. There is money to be made online, a LOT of it, but it is a JOB all its own, it requires TIME, EDUCATION, INVESTMENT and COMMITMENT on your part.

Here's one that didn't work for

Have you ever tried "My Dollar Shop"? If not, don't. They'll be happy to help you achieve better results for a couple of thousand dollars. I chose to try it on my own, and what a flop! Since it wasn't selling I decided to buy some travel certificates for myself to give away to downline members and offer as incentives. They never came, and I have never looked back!I do see them coming out again in current marketing-so be careful if a Dollar Store interests you.

Marketing needs as the Net grows

The current marketing climate on the Net changes from day to day it seems. We've seen cyclers, doublers (which I lost money in) HYIP's (which I lost MORE money in), claims that MLM is dying, affiliate programs are dying due to URL fraud, sometimes it's hard to keep up. New tools become available to help us grow our businesses in the everchanging environment. There are some great "spiders" out there to help us find key words, Super Affiliates, you name it, but the price is usually out of reach for the everyday Internet marketer. Do you TEST your marketing material?

I have found an excellent tool to do that with. The Ad Xchange gives an excellent opportunity to test subject lines, and text that you might use for classifieds or safelists. It has a readership of close to 5,000,000, so it's great exposure and you can monitor your traffic from the back office. If you aren't getting any traffic-you know your subject line is way off. If you are getting traffic but no signups or results (contacts) then the body of your ad needs work. The best thing is you can post as many as you like, so you can keep at it until you get results. Then you can use that ad in your other medias. I encourage you to give it a try, it's really working for me.

Hurricanes and Satellite TV

If you are like me, you believed bad weather would kill the reception on Satellite TV, so I was content to keep my cable and watch my favorites. I still had memories of those giant dishes and how unattractive they used to look on roofs and in yards.

Last year, here in southeast Florida where I live; Francis and Jeanne, two not so friendly hurricanes, visited me. I think I should tell you that hurricanes and the Big Bad Wolf are at the top of my “Scare Me to Death” list. Francis was first, and my cable went off before the power. I called for repair but was told everyone had gone home in the local area to get ready for the storm. I guess they turned everything off with the lights when they left. I lost power for two weeks not to mention that half of my belongings were blown into the next county, and when the first lights flickered back on – WOW - civilization was returning so I turned on the TV. No Cable! This is not good, I thought! My neighbor invited us over to watch theirs; yes, they had satellite!! The dish is so small and hidden on the back of their roof I never even knew they had it…and amazingly enough it didn’t get blown into the next county like my stuff.

Thinking I had a lot of time to shop services, Jeanne was on the scene and I was too late, but I figured the cable had just been repaired and would withstand the portion of the storm we were going to get. Not so, it was a repeat of the last round. Then I had to fight with the cable company for credits on my bills for all the days of no service and it took three billing cycles to get any adjustment.

I started making phone calls, not something I’m fond of doing, when my neighbor mentioned to me that they had found their service online. You can compare rates and free offers without having to talk to sales people and wonder if they are giving you a line to reel you into their service. Isn’t the Internet GRAND??? How convenient!

I also found out that shopping for satellite TV online offers so many more discounts and freebies than calling local suppliers. Online sellers work so hard to make you a customer. They not only offer free equipment and installation but also offer free receivers for extra rooms (up to four) as opposed to the one digital box I had on ONE TV from my cable service, and you can watch a different channel in every room which was contrary to what I had believed about satellite TV. The professional installation they schedule for you insures the maximum benefit from the system and is one of the best freebies offered.

Needless to say, I am happy with my service. Our squalls and incredible thunderstorms haven’t bothered my television experience and I no longer have to worry about lines going down or over-all-area cable outages. I can even get my high speed Internet service on satellite. Technology is a wonderful thing!

Do you use redirects?

I find redirects tend to send your email advertisements to spam boxes. I like to know where I'm going, so if you aren't willing to show me in your URL, the ad better be really good, or I don't visit!! Global Domains International gives you an opportunity to register a .ws domain name that you can use as a redirect or build your page for that address. It's an additional revenue stream and offers a lot of email identities for use in different marketing campaigns.

You can also get cheap domain names at GoDaddy.com, let's face it a real domain name is so much more professional. I maintain quite a few of my own, for example http://www.makemoney-notexcuses.com is a forwarded URL, while http://www.mini-fast-track.com is a page of my own. EVERY marketer need to have their own page, for banner exchanges, link exchanges, something easy to get as many little side programs as you can on. If you don't have it, you are missing out on outstanding traffic opportunities. A great place to get a page and a domain is KIOSK, and you get the benefits of hosting an FFA page, and autoresponders for an excellent price.

So, I guess wht I'm saying, is I believe real URL and not substitutes are more professional. Check out my .ws page, http://marimac.ws which I am using as a redirect. It's nice and short, and doesn't land in SPAM mailboxes. What's Working for me now

This is really sort of a test. Blogging is totally new to me and I am trying to get everything figured out! I truly enjoy internet marketing, even though I work full time and am a single mom. I have some excellent programs and finally after 10 years am beginning to see the fruits of learning from my many mistakes!!

The internet has so much to offer for a home business, it DOES take money to make money, but with the internet not near as much. If you are promoting a business I'm sure you try all of the current marketing approaches. I personally love MyOpp, it's not a business in itself, but it is one of the best promotion tools I've found. My site, allows me to offer a movie, free e-book, it includes great lead generators, autoresponders, prewritten letters, multi-lingual chat, free affiliate sites, and of course showcase my primary programs and marketing programs. MyOpp in combination with FFA sites brings in sensational premium leads! (Yes, post and HOST FFA sites-it's good for your business)

Another outstanding marketing vehicle is iPowerDirect which offers excellent training, a fantastic downline builder, and so much I am AMAZED by, all for a one time $5. If you promote anything at all this will be the most worthwhile $5 you will ever spend. If you belong to a lot of page exchanges you also need a home rotator, and if you promote multiple programs a site rotator also. The best ones are free, seamless, and can be found at Buildreferrals . The home rotator is for your surf URLs, you enter them in your rotator, set the rotator address as your home page and surf a different site every time you load your browse. Open three or four browser windows at once and surf multiple exchanges. You can do it for a few minutes every day and stay active in your exchanges and get traffic.
